Teddi Mellencamp is leaving the housewives, after a season of relatively boring and repetitive drama, and years of fans calling her boring.
This season seemed really exciting in the previews, but turned out to be a repeat of last year. These Beverly Hills ladies really know how to hold onto the most insignificant of details. No one is better at that, in my humble opinion, than Mrs. Teddi Mellencamp. Last year, she couldn’t let go of puppygate and Lisa’s involvement in it. This year, she latches onto Denise and makes it her mission to take her down. I understand Denise defended herself poorly, and Aaron was no help, but they really ganged up on her this season. I’m not going to say it’s the worst thing a housewife has had to endure, but it was hard to watch.

I can’t understand how the women couldn’t understand that Denise didn’t want her kids and their friends hear them talking about threesomes. Aren’t they all moms? First they couldn’t let that go, no matter how badly viewers wanted them to. How many times can you watch the same argument? They finally move on from that and start their mission to ruin Denise’s reputation and marriage. I’m not saying I don’t something happened between Denise and Brandi, I’m just saying it’s none of Teddi’s business. I cannot understand why they all felt entitled to know all the dirty details.
Teddi Announces Her Exit
Let’s get to the actual point of today’s post. Bravo finally listened to their viewers, and gave us what we have been asking for since Teddi first became a housewife. I don’t think there has ever been a more boring housewife who just adds nothing to the show. Sutton called her out for being boring, and boy were we all here for it. Anyways, I don’t think her firing has anything to do with how boring she is. She’s been boring for three seasons and I don’t think Bravo executives cared much. I think she’s been fired because her business promotes an anorexic diet.
Last week, Instagram blew up with first hand accounts from Teddi’s former clients. They claim, diet advice is given by the company, despite the fact that there are no licensed nutritionists on staff. There is a lot of restrictions regarding what a client can eat and when they can eat. Clients also have to send pictures of their meal to Teddi or one of her employees. It is alleged, the clients are put on a 500 calorie per day diet. Yeah that doesn’t sound very healthy to me. To top it off, the programs are extremely expensive. A two week detoxification process costs $599, the following monthly program costs $399, and a new postpartum program is $525. You are essentially paying to develop an eating disorder. Also, clients have to sign an NDA.
Teddi’s Response
Teddi denies all this and says everything is done to encourage the clients, and keep them on track. If there is someone keeping them accountable, they are more likely to follow through. I agree with that, but if you’re practices are all kosher, why have people sign an NDA? I would have loved to see Teddi deal with this scandal and be flayed on RHOBH next season. Watch her squirm like she made LVP and Denise squirm. I like the news that she’s fired way more though.

With two diamonds up for grabs I really hope we get some exciting fresh blood. Sutton needs a diamond, first of all. Second of all, Rinna needs to go. She is just too nasty for me. She was fun at first, but she has gone so down hill for me these past few seasons. Also, as much as I hate to say it, Kyle is a little too comfortable in her position. It sucks to see an OG go, but I think Kyle’s time has come. We don’t need another tagline about how Beverly Hills is full of fakes and she only tells the truth.
What do you think of Teddi Mellencamp leaving the housewives? Were you a fan? Let me know in the comments!
This season I was shocked and disappointed with Teddy, Lisa, and Kyle. First, Denise spoke about her sexual life in season 1, but then it seemed like everyone felt entitled to talk about her sexual life at all times. And that is wrong. Felt like I was watching sexual harassment in a toxic and hostile work place in every episode. Secondly, Denise’s children were brought into the issue. And that is extremely wrong. Third of all, the continuous attempt to shame and out Denise was disgusting to watch. I feel like many reasons for law suits against these three, and sometimes even Erika, who suggested that Denise’s teenagers had probably already experienced a threesome, was allowed for too long by Bravo. Bringing back Brandi, who is clearly on a behavior inducing substances was stupid, too! Awful poor behavior facilitated by Bravo during this last season.
I agree with everything you just said! I also feel like Andy was egging the others on rather than trying to hear Denise’s responses, discrediting her attempt to defend herself. I thought he was supposed to stay impartial.
