Sophie Turner recently gave birth to the couples first child together. I personally, am obsessed with this couple and am so happy for them. The news of their daughters birth has me bursting with joy. Also, can we talk about their daughter’s name? I love it. Willa sounds so British and is just the kind of name I would expect Sophie to give her child. Honestly, it is the cutest. Congratulations to the new parents! I hope they aren’t against showing their child’s face because I am curious to see what she looks like. I’m also curious to see if she will have her mom’s accent. I hope she does!
We started speculating Sophie was pregnant earlier this year, but she never confirmed. The closest thing to a confirmation was pictures of a very pregnant Sophie, walking around Los Angeles in May. I guess a pregnant belly is confirmation enough. At least they told us about the birth. I don’t think it was them keeping a secret. To me it felt the same as when they got married. Their attitude is kind of like, “eh, if they find out, they find out.” That is something I can appreciate. Willa was born on Wednesday in a Los Angeles hospital.
Speaking of their wedding, the two famously tied the knot at a chapel in Vegas. Very cool and on brand for them. I mean, who doesn’t want Diplo as their wedding videographer, who then live streams it for the world to see. How I wish I was at that wedding. They later had a wedding in Europe where both their families were able to attend. I also wish I scored an invite to that wedding. Anyways, they are the coolest couple around so I can only imagine how cool Willa will grow up to be.
